Our September ‘Harvest Hoedown’ event invites PLAY@ visitors to join in the harvest celebrations – getting hands-on with picking your own veggies to take home and cook, while learning more about the crops we harvest on the farm and where they go.

🎓 Afterschool Friday visitors, please note that our animal zone closes at 5 pm, and there will be no trailer rides during your visit.
By design, we’ve tried to make the PLAY experience as accessible as possible so that everyone can join in the fun, with lift access to the first floor of the playbarn, accessible walkways and paths all around the site and a ‘Changing Places’ toilet added in 2025.
Our quieter, low-capacity sessions take place on Sunday mornings at 9am during school holidays, Bank Holiday weekends and on the third Sunday of every month.
One carer is free of charge when accompanying a disabled guest; documentation is required.

From Stafford/J13 of M6:
Take the A449 toward Penkridge. Approximately 1 mile from the J13 roundabout turn left down Lower Drayton Lane then follow the Play@ signs.
From J12 of M6:
Take the A5 exit toward Telford. At the Gailey roundabout turn right onto the A449 toward Penkridge/Stafford. Approx ½ mile after leaving Penkridge, turn right onto Lower Drayton Lane then follow the Play@ signs.
From Wolverhampton:
Take the A449 northbound toward Stafford. At the Gailey roundabout, continue straight on to Penkridge. Approx ½ mile after leaving Penkridge, turn right onto Lower Drayton Lane then follow the Play@ signs.

When you’ve worked up an appetite, head to our Honeypots Café for fresh, homemade hot and cold food, drinks and cakes all made with produce sourced on the farm or from within Staffordshire, where possible.
You’ll also find vending machines around site for when you want a drink or snack ‘on the go’ and picnics are welcome in our designated picnic areas.
