It’s Harvest Time! We’re a working farm and food production is at the heart of what we do.
We’re celebrating British Food Fortnight by helping visitors to PLAY learn more about the ‘farm to fork’ journey – while having lots of fun!

As part of our commitment to keeping you safe, visitor numbers are strictly limited and by advance booking only.
PLAY tickets are currently available to 5th October.
A further seven days will be added on Monday 28th Sept, and each Monday thereafter. Half term tickets will be released on Monday 19th October.
🎃 PYO Pumpkin tickets are on sale! This event is separate to the PLAY barn, requiring a separate ticket.

From Stafford/J13 of M6:
Take the A449 toward Penkridge. Approximately 1 mile from the J13 roundabout turn left down Lower Drayton Lane then follow the Play@ signs.
From J12 of M6:
Take the A5 exit toward Telford. At the Gailey roundabout turn right onto the A449 toward Penkridge/Stafford. Approx ½ mile after leaving Penkridge, turn right onto Lower Drayton Lane then follow the Play@ signs.
Take the A449 northbound toward Stafford. At the Gailey roundabout, continue straight on to Penkridge. Approx ½ mile after leaving Penkridge, turn right onto Lower Drayton Lane then follow the Play@ signs.

Covid-19 safety measures
We’re taking safety seriously, with lots of measures in place to ensure everyone keeps social distancing. Plus, we’ve got lots of hand sanitising stations to help keep our visitors and team safe, so you can relax and enjoy your visit. More details in our FAQ
Face masks are required indoors, as per government guidelines.
By design, we’ve tried to make the experience as accessible as possible so that everyone can join in the fun, with lift access to the first floor of the playbarn and accessible walkways and paths all around the site.
If you would like to discuss holding a session for a group with particular additional needs – including quiet sessions and private group hire, please get in touch.
Food and drink
When you’ve worked up an appetite, head to our Honeypots Café for fresh, homemade hot and cold food, drinks and cakes. You’ll also find vending machines around site for when you want a drink or snack ‘on the go’ and picnics are welcome in our designated picnic areas.
Looking for a memento of your visit or to buy a birthday or Christmas present then our on-site shop offers a great range. From pocket money treats and snacks to handpicked toys and games, there’s something for everyone.
