It’s Sowing Season at Lower Drayton Farm! 🌱🚜

Throughout June, your weekend PLAY@ ticket will include our NEW Sowing Season event, giving families the chance to discover what happens on a real working farm as we plant and grow the crops that will be harvested later in the year.

Hop aboard our farm trailer ride and head out into the fields to see farming in action, meet the machines that help us grow our crops and even have a go at planting your own seeds. It’s the perfect opportunity for children to learn where their food comes from while enjoying a fantastic family day out.

Better still, if you return for our Harvest Hoedown event in September, you’ll be able to see just how much those crops have grown and even pick your own vegetables to take home!

Sowing Season Activities will include:

🌱 Hands-on seed planting
🚜 Farm trailer ride to see our crops growing in the fields
🚜 Meet the machines that help us farm the land
🧑🏻‍🌾 Learn about farming, food production and the future of agriculture
